- ½ cup whole grain rolled oats
- 1 cup water
- ½ banana
- Scant handful of macadamia nuts
- 1 Tbs. ground flaxseed
- Pinch of cinnamon
In a microwave safe bowl, combine water and oats. Microwave 2-3 minutes or until it reaches desired consistency. Slice the banana, and add it to the oatmeal. Then, add macadamia nuts, ground flaxseed, and cinnamon. Stir well. Microwave an additional 30 seconds to blend the flavors. Let it cool a little, and eat up! All the mix-ins are optional, and I usually add half a scoop of all natural vanilla whey protein powder as well.
