Clean Strawberry Almond Quinoa Recipe

Strawberry Quinoa


  • 1/4 cup uncooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 strawberries
  • 1 tsp. slivered almonds


Put water and quinoa in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cover for about 12 minutes. Meanwhile, slice strawberries. When quinoa is done cooking, stir in strawberries and sprinkle with almonds. It makes a tasty, nutritious breakfast! Also, try it with different fruit and nut combinations like bananas and pecans, peaches and cashews, or blueberries and walnuts.
